Members of the New Nigeria People’s Party abandoned Rabiu Kwankwaso , its presidential candidate, on Sunday to endorse All Progressives Congress contender Bola Ahmed Tinubu (APC).

Members of the state’s Minjibir and Ungogo local government units were the most recent to leave.
According to the findings, the latest defection was another of its sort from the aforementioned LGAs.
Governor Abdullahi Ganduje met with a large number of supporters who defected to the APC in Minjibir and Ungogo.
The defecting followers were said to have removed their symbolic Kwankwasiyya red caps and threw them over to the campaign podium amid thundering ovations from the crowd.
According to them, the APC was the only party that could meet their desires for a better Kano State and Nigeria.
