Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Nuhu Ribadu, has mentioned that Tinubu is quite sellable. He reckoned that the APC candidate is the “most sellable” for those vying for the presidency in the forth coming election.
Ribadu who doubles as the Director of Stakeholders Relations for the Presidential Campaign Council, mentioned this at the official inauguration. The inauguration was for the 132-member directorate of the APC PCC.
At this event he warned the party not to underrate the candidate of other political parties ahead of the 2023 elections.
Mr. Ribadu expressed optimism; he noted that the February 25 pool would be a walkover for Bola Tinubu.
This inauguration ceremony took place at the PCC campaign office in Abuja. It was officiated by the former Osun State Governor and APC founding national chairman, Chief Bisi Akande.
While mentioning that Tinubu will sweep the presidential election as a result of the grassroots work done thus far. Ribadu, the former anti-corruption agency boss also cautioned that no candidate should be taken for granted.
He said, “We should not underrate our opponent. We need to work assiduously to ensure that the margin of winning is wide that the victory will be sweet and massive.
“Luckily for us, our job has been cut out for us. We actually have the most sellable products in the market today. There is really no candidate out there that is better than our own.
“Asiwaju Tinubu is an accomplished human being and thorough bred administrator. Tinubu is also a maverick politician. Bola Tinubu will certainly have something to show from his glowing antecedent, he will not be learning on the job.
He noted that, “he believes they would continue with the victory of the ruling party from where they stopped in May 29th, 2015.”
This is as he expressed confidence that Tinubu has all it takes to administer the country. And this is regardless of the aversion of some Nigerians to the party’s Muslim-Muslim ticket.
