Just two months after the end of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, 89 new buses out of 90 buses used to transport the participating national teams, delegations, and other logistic teams have reportedly vanished.

Organizers reportedly purchased 90 buses for the continental exhibition, but only one bus was seen, according to L’Anecdote, a Cameroonian daily.

The only vehicle visible was the bus used by the host nation, Cameroon. For their home games, it was set aside for the Indomitable Lions.

Following rumors that the Cameroonian government had not yet paid some of the workers for the 2021 AFCON, this development occurred.

The Teranga Lions of Senegal won the 33rd edition of the tournament after beating Egypt in a penalty shootout.
