After offering an apology and attempting to make amends with her ex-fiance, Alexx Ekubo, Nigerian beauty Fancy Acholonu has changed her mind again.
Former lovers got engaged in August of 2021, but Acholonu abruptly called off their scheduled wedding after they became engaged in May of that year.
The model publicly apologized to Ekubo on Instagram on Friday, saying that she still loves him with all of her heart.
The post has since been taken down.
Fancy Acholonu declared on Instagram on Monday that things had taken an unexpected turn, that she is “free” and that “the chain is broken.”
she captioned the post:
“Happy New Year everyone. 2023 will be my year of strength, being fearless, speaking up for myself & FINALLY no longer under anyone’s control. I’m free, the chain is broken. May God bless us all. #SimplyFancy,”
In response to comments, Fancy stated that the actor forced her to write the apology in order to savage his public image.
Instagram user, @lindaedo asked why the former couple broke up in the first place, and Acholonu replied:
“For the same reason I no longer want to be with him, all of you are right people don’t change.
“I definitely would have left him again. So he deserves different and I deserve better,”
