The international has played a total of 47 minutes in three La Liga games—11 against Getafe, 22 against Cadiz, and 14 against Villarreal—without making a single start.

Raphinha has not played despite serving a two-match suspension, and Xavi Hernandez has chosen to give other players, like 16-year-old Lamine Yamal, a chance.

In reality, Fati just recently extended his contract, which has a $1 billion protection provision, through June 2027. But this summer, everything changed, and he lost his invulnerability.
