The Arewa Youth Assembly has called on several prominent Nigerians from the private sector to run for president in 2023.

The youths who made the call in a statement titled “Private sector players to join in the 2023 presidential election” co-signed by its spokesman Mohamed Danlami and national official Desmond Minakaro, young people named the likes of Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola-Yuela and Mike Adenuga among others, to run for presidency in 2023 to save the country from its current state.
The statement reads partly:
“In a country like Nigeria, where there are many brilliant brains with a strong international reputation, the likes of Aliko Dangote, Mrs Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Mrs Ibukun Awosika, Bode Augusto, Segun Agbaje, Fola Adeola, Tunde Folawiyo, Atedo Peterside, Kola Adesina, Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola, Mr Mke Adenuga, Mr Akinwumi Adesina, why let Nigeria be ruled by people who lack such understanding when there are boardroom czars with a plethora of entrepreneurship knowledge?
They stressed that the Nigerian economy would do well under these leading names.
