In the attack where the thieves robbed some stores and stole food, a man and his wife were also struck by stray bullets.

A resident who talked with Daily Trust claimed that on Friday night, armed robbers broke into the neighborhood.

Abubakar Sadauna, the district chief of Gulida, confirmed the occurrence and mentioned that the couple who had been shot had been transferred to a private hospital in Gwagwalada for treatment.
