Budweiser BudxUncovered: Six up-and-coming musicians performed for a captive audience on August 12 at the Aztech Arcum Event Center in Port Harcourt in the hopes of winning a golden ticket to the Grand Finale in Lagos.
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the event’s celebrity host, also paid a visit to the BudxUncovered Port Harcourt Stage, and BNXN (FKA Buju) performed to round off a fulfilling and unforgettable evening made possible by Budweiser.
The first winner of the BudxUncovered Regional Stages was Calian, a.k.a. Emmanuel Somtoochukwu, who received a largely unanimous 5-star rating from the crowd for his captivating stage presence and melodious voice.

The “Port Harcourt Stage” was the first of six events that also took place in Enugu, Asaba, Uyo, Calabar, and Lagos.

On September 23, finalists from each location will compete in Lagos for the chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to Las Vegas, USA, where they will perform on a large platform alongside other international performers.
Launched in July, the Budweiser BudxUncovered campaign invites young Nigerian talent to visit budweiser.com.ng in order to be considered for one of the six Regional Stages, contestants must submit their demo tape.
