Chelsea have completed the signing of Brazilian forward Deivid Washington from Santos for around 20 million euros (£17.2 million).
Washington, 18, has committed to Stamford Bridge for seven years with the possibility of an additional year.
The dynamic attacker has two goals in nine senior appearances for Santos.

The Brazilian becomes Mauricio Pochettino’s sixth acquisition for Chelsea during the summer transfer window.
Following a great season in South America, the young forward has agreed to a seven-year contract with an additional year’s option. He joins Angelo Gabriel from Santos.
He completed his transfer earlier today, August 24th, 2023, and the Brazilian is now the newest member of our summer roster.
After starting his career with Gremio, the gifted attacker switched to Santos in 2016.
Washington attracted attention while featuring in Santos’ youth squad, and his goal-scoring prowess led to a call-up to the main team lineup.
Washington scored his first goal in a 3-0 Serie A victory against Bahia a month after making his senior debut for Santos in April as a late substitution in the Copa do Brasil.
