Nigerian music star Davido has sent condolence message to Wizkid, who reportedly lost his mum Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun.

Recall we reported that Wizkid, Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, also known as Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, lost his mum in the early hours of Friday.
She reportedly passed away on Friday morning at about 1:30 am.
Sunday Are confirmed the occurrence to the media on Friday, stating, “Yes, she died early this morning, around 1.30 am.”
Since the death, fans flocked to social media sites to express their condolences to the artist and his family.
However, music rival, David Adeleke, also known as Davido, took to his Twitter account to commensurate with the Afrobeat star.
On Saturday morning, he shared a first Tweet with just emojis that showed a praying hand, a heart, and a flying dove.
There were no words accompanying the Tweet, just the emojis “🙏🏿❤️🕊” which fans understand was a message to Wizkid.
However, Davido also took out time to share a second tweet, this time in words, commiserating with the Grammy winner over the loss of his mum.
He tweeted, saying: “Praying for you my brother @wizkidayo. Sadness flies away on the wings of time. ❤️”

David Adeleke, a Nigerian music icon better known by his stage name Davido, earlier disclosed that his Afrobeats bandmate Ayodeji Balogun, now known as Wizkid, phoned him once a week after the passing of his son Ifeanyi.
In an interview that was broadcast in April 2023 on the Morning Show on Hot 97FM in New York, Davido made this statement.

He claimed that Wizkid and he had a 12-year falling out and that they just started talking again following the death of his son.
He was heard saying in the video, “With Wiz, over the years we had a rift, for 12 years we had a rift up until recently he chatted up and I am seeing the positivity.”
