Nolywood actress Kemi Afolabi has revealed that she has been diagnosed with lupus.

Lupus is a disease that occurs when the immune system attacks the body’s tissues and organs.

In an interview with journalist Chude Jideonwo, the actress revealed that doctors said she only have five years left and she has lived one year out of that already.

“I have lupus. it is incurable. You will have to take medication for the rest of your life.”

“Make sure you’re with the person you love,” she said, quoting the doctor.”You still have upto five years old.”

She added that she spent more than 1 million naira on the treatment, but did not get the desired results.

Earlier in January, Afolabi took to her Instagram to to disclose that she had written her will and booked a space at the cemetery after she was diagnosed.
