A young Lady who is said to be a DSS official jumped into the lagoon at Third Main Land Bridge Lagos

Nigerians were stunned to learn that a young woman had jumped into the Lagos lagoon on November 10 when the information reaches the media.

According to eyewitness accounts, the incident occurred suddenly when the woman stepped out of a taxi and plunged into the water.

The cab driver said that the woman and her husband had gotten into an argument before she got out and jumped into the lagoon.

The woman is a DSS employee who recently received a commendation, according to US-based journalist Jackson Ude. However, there are reports that the woman was saved by Nigerian Navy personnel rather than drowning as had been initially thought.

Jackson Ude, the publisher of Pointblanknews.com has revealed that the lady who jumped into the Lagos lagoon on Thursday, November 10 is an official of the Department of State Services (DSS).

Ude made the revelation on Twitter with a photo of the said lady who he identified as Adetutu Adedokun.

Ude announced the news on Twitter along with a picture of the woman, whom he identified as Adetutu Adedokun.

He wrote, while sharing a photo of the lady:

“This beautiful lady named Tutu, a staff of the Department of State Services, DSS, jumped into the Lagos Lagoon after a heated argument with her boyfriend.

“Only four months ago, Tutu got commendation from the DG, DSS, as the best unarmed combat operative in her set.

Although there are rumors that the lady was saved by the Nigerian Navy, the Lagos authorities are yet to verify this claim.
