At the National Hospital in Abuja, an impostor named Obiako Chukwuemeka who was working with the United Nations as a humanitarian aid under the pretense of being a doctor was discovered and handed over to the police.

Chukwuemeka, whose origin and age are now unclear, has been jailed in the meantime pending his arraignment, a reliable source within the Federal Capital Territory Police Command verified to our correspondent.

According to the source, “The National Hospital Abuja on Thursday handed over a fake doctor, one Obiako Chukwuemeka, who had been posing as a UN doctor working on humanitarian aid, to the police at Central Police Station.”

“He is currently in our custody, and will soon be charged to court.”

This comes after the FCT Minister, Muhammad Bello, claimed that traders, beggars, and visitors from neighboring states were responsible for the security breaches in Abuja and threatened to expel them.

“The security organizations in the FCT have improved. Sending away those who have no business being here. Some of them go by several names, including street traders and beggars. They frequently invade our security and are doing so from nearby states. We have chosen to send them out as a result. Bello stated in a statement on August 26, 2022, a Friday.

The security agencies, he claimed, have accumulated important and intelligence information and will shortly pursue all crooks under their purview.
