According to information released by the House of Representatives last year, Mexican drug traffickers have been using Nigerian laboratories to produce Mkpuru Mmiri since 2016.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, or NDLEA, was then ordered by the parliamentarians to pursue dealers of the hard narcotics Mkpuru-Mmiri and other methamphetamine in order to eradicate them from the country.
