Takeoff, a 28-year-old American rapper, was reportedly shot and killed at a Houston nightclub over a dice game.
It was learned that the fatal shooting took place last night in Houston’s downtown area, specifically in the 1200 block of Polk Street.
According to Iharare, at least a dozen law enforcement authorities responded to the scene of incident.
The report states that when the police arrived, they discovered two victims at the scene who had sustained several gunshot wounds. The first victim was pronounced dead upon arrival at the local hospital, while the second was in a critical condition.
American rapper Takeoff was eventually revealed to be the deceased victim.
Houston police confirmed the incident in a statement shared on their official twitter page.
