The alleged murder of a man in the Badagry area of the state has led to the arrest of Kamalideen Raji’m’, 35, by officers of Area K, Morogbo of the Lagos State Police Command.
The manager of a lottery center was allegedly stabbed twice in the neck by the suspect, who was apprehended at around 11.30 am on Tuesday, August 2. The incident allegedly stemmed from a dispute over unpaid debts.
After being taken to hospital for treatment at Badagry General Hospital, the victim passed away.
The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, has ordered that the case be transferred to the State Criminal Investigations Department, Panti for additional investigations and prosecution, according to SP Benjamin Hundeyin, a spokesperson for the state police command, who confirmed the arrest.
