A man has been arrested after accidentally stabbing his mother during a fight with his wife in Zawiyya Tudunwada, Kontagora, Niger state.
According to reports, he grabbed a knife and tried to attack his wife but instead stabbed his mother as she attempted to end the dispute
However, attempts were made to save her, but she quickly died on the spot.
The woman who was beaten by her husband was taken to the hospital and the man was arrested soon after his mother’s death.
