Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, has been discharged by the Appeal Court in Abuja.
The Federal Government brought 15 counts of accusations against Kanu in the Federal High Court in Abuja, including felony charges and terrorism offenses, which he firmly denied.
Kanu has criticized Justice Binta Nyako’s decision to require him to respond to seven of the fifteen counts of the terrorism allegation brought against him.
For a number of reasons, including the fact that the alleged offenses were not committed in Nigeria, he had asked the appeal court to drop all charges against him and release him which they did.
