The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Abubakar Atiku has left Nigeria to the United States of America to intensify his presidential campaigns ahead of the coming election in 2023.
Abubakar Atiku is proceeding on a week’s political campaign in the United State, where he would be having meetings with Nigerians and the business community during this weeklong visit.
While his there, the PDP’s presidential candidate would be meeting with Nigerians in Diaspora as well as with PDP members in North America.
Based on report, Abubakar Atiku would meet with top Nigerian business leaders that are living in the United State, as well as young Nigerian professionals in the Diaspora. Abubakar Atiku will also be having meetings with some other business communities that are in the State during this visit.
Keep in mind that Abubakar Atiku did flag off his presidential campaign in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State three weeks ago. He also followed his campaign last Saturday with another campaign, with another taking place in Benin, Edo, respectively.
Abubakar Atiku is expected to be back in Nigeria on Monday, he will be resuming his campaign in Ekiti state on Tuesday, November 1st 2022, while the campaign rally in Ondo State would hold on Wednesday November 2nd.
The travel to the United State has laid to rest the controversies that the former vice president, Abubakar Atiku couldn’t travel to the country.
