Richard Mofe-Damijo, also known as RMD, is a veteran of the Nigerian film industry. He believes that it is challenging to be faithful to one’s spouse.
The actor stated this in response to a question on marriage and keeping faithful during a recent interview with well-known comedian Teju Babyface.
He continued by saying that married men are frequently the focus of women with bad intentions and that this is difficult to overcome.

RMD started by stating, “It is very hard, let’s face it. Every one of us that is married, we are the target, I mean look at women, how can we escape it.”
He continued by comparing those women to evil biblical characters like Jezebel and Delilah who planned the destruction of men. He continued by saying that the only way to defeat those kinds of women’s initiatives is to use authority to put an end to them.
“Women are like Jezebel, they are like Delilah. They prepare The only way you can perpetuate the real intentions of the enemy is to constantly aim at the image of God or the symbol of authority at any time, you shoot it down,” he stated.
Richard Mofe-Damijo went on to emphasize that men must be tough in the face of difficulty by comparing the circumstance to that of being an army commander.
He also advised men to tell their wives about challenges when they encounter them and to guard against Jezebel-like women.
He said, “It’s like being a general, it’s like being a commander in a battlefield. You drop and the battalion scatters. It is very difficult, you have to get to a point where your wife understands what she is up against as well because if she is not up to speed or up to date on what she is up against then your flanks are open. I don’t go to clubs unless I am entertaining people from out of town or if I have work. If I go, it means I have my flanks protected and I’m sure I’d leave there unscathed no matter what happens.”
The veteran added that wives who choose to end their marriages after a single affair are not grounded.
