He is reportedly the third cryptocurrency entrepreneur to die suddenly recently under mysterious circumstances.
After taking off from Lausanne, Switzerland, on Friday afternoon, November 25, the helicopter crashed close to the resort town of Villefranche-sur-Mer, killing the 53-year-old businessman. His 35-year-old French pilot died in the crash as well.
Tiantian Kullander, 30, passed away last week “in his sleep,” while another cryptocurrency millionaire Nikolai Mushegian, 29, drowned on a beach in Puerto Rico after tweeting that he thought the CIA and Mossad were coming to assassinate him.
Mail Online claims that Taran’s deadly incident took place in clear, pleasant weather and that it happened following a last-minute cancellation of another passenger’s journey.
Upon viewing the scene, Nice’s deputy public prosecutor said it was hard to completely rule out the possibility of outside influence.
The local press reported that Taran was supposed to board the plane with another anonymous passenger who then abruptly canceled.
The extremely successful offshore specialist and his wife Olga, the creator of Hello Monaco Media , have three children together and have resided in Monaco for the past ten years.
