A mobile application and network platform have been launched by Universal Insurance Plc to speed up the delivery of financial solutions and simplify insurance transactions for clients.
The products back up the business’s aim to provide clients with exceptional value and easily accessible service while promoting financial inclusion.
Speaking about the significance of the new products during the unveiling in Lagos, Dr. Benedict Ujoatuonu, Managing Director of the underwriting company, said that the mobile application will considerably alleviate difficulties related to making claims.
According to Ujoatuonu, the application will handle claims with the promptness demanded by insurance policyholders.

Additionally, he said that users would be able to purchase a personal accident insurance coverage through the Universal Insurance Network Platform.
He claims that the network platform’s goals include fostering financial inclusion and insurance penetration while also producing advantages and incentives.
“For a start, we are targeting five million people to benefit from the network in terms of policy security cover and incentives they will get in participating.”
“We have also put price tags to reward people who will meet these targets,” he said.
The company’s Head of Retail Group, Anthony Okafor, said the platform was created to assist policyholders in obtaining coverage and earning incentives while speaking at the event, which drew more than 300 insurance agents and brokers.
Uchechukwu stated that in the event of an accident, including injury, permanent disability, and death, policyholders might also get in touch with the business’ claim department.
