On Sunday, January 8, 2023, Uzodike, a department of business administration staff, gave birth to the babies at the Obijackson Women and Children Hospital in Okija.
In a conversation with reporters, her husband, Celestine Uzodike, a junior adviser to Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, the governor of Anambra State, revealed that the babies were born prematurely at 26 weeks.
He claimed that when the newborns were admitted to the intensive care unit and each one cost N3 million, the hospital was hit them with a charge for N19 million.
Sadly, one of the babies has now died, leaving the parents with six other babies.
