The strike action executed by aviation workers under the auspices of the National Union of Air Transport Employees and the Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria has been called off.
International flights were disrupted today January 23, at Lagos and Abuja airports, as workers began a strike demanding salary increases.
Many travelers were left stranded at the airport when all international flights were canceled.
In a recent development, the leadership of the Aviation workers said that the strike has been suspended and that negotiations to fulfill their compensation raise demands are proceeding.
