The police headquarters in Delta state, Nigeria, was stormed by a group of youths carrying the body of an unidentified man who allegedly lost his life over a 100 naira bribe to the police.
According to reports, the man was shot by some police officers at Ugbolu Asaba road, and this has sparked outrage among the youths in the area. The angry youths took to the major road in the area and marched to the police headquarters with the corpse.
There have been no other reported casualties so far, as the youths continue their protest in front of the police headquarters. In a video circulating online, some of the young protesters can be seen shouting and confronting a police officer over the issue.
The state police command is yet to release a statement regarding the incident.
