Wolves got their first Premier League win of the season thanks to a late header by substitute Sasa Kalajdzic, dropping Everton to last place with no points.

The Austrian striker, who joined Wolves at the beginning of last season but tore his ACL on his home debut, jumped above Nathan Patterson to score after a cross by Pedro Neto.
After failing to record a single shot on goal in the first half, Wolves felt they had finally broken the deadlock shortly after the break, but Fabio Silva’s close-range finish was disallowed due to offside.

Everton’s defensive confusion gifted the Portuguese striker with a golden opportunity, but instead, Silva went through on goal and missed to the side.
The two goalkeepers then traded incredible stops, with Jose Sa brilliantly tipping over Abdoulaye Doucoure’s stooping header and Jordan Pickford making a sharp reflex save to deny a goal-scoring opportunity for teammate Jarrad Branthwaite.
With 11 minutes left, the home crowd thought they had won it when Doucoure tucked in to finish off a wonderful move. However, the assistant’s flag went up for offside, and Kalajdzic scored late to shock the hosts.
