A gifted young African mathematician, identified as Abdulzeid Yen Anafo broke the record when he graduated with a Ph.D. in mathematics. He graduated from the University of Mines and Technology in Tarkwa Ghana, at the age of 25.
Abdulzeid, then 20 years old, finished his studies at the University of Development Studies (UDS), Ghana, where he received a degree in pure mathematics.
The Young African Mathematician took to his social media to post his accomplishment and expresses his gratefulness to God and the professors that oversaw his research during his academic career.
Abdulzeid obtained his M.Sc. degree at the esteemed African Institute for Mathematical Sciences before he enrolled in a Ph.D. program at the University of Mines and Technology in Tarkwa Ghana.
